Magnesium oxide sandwich panel: the core category page
This is the core category page of the site. It gathers the magnesium oxide sandwich panels — MOS panels and hollow glass-magnesium panels, handmade and machine-made — and it is the page to start from when the core family is known but the construction route is not yet decided.

The panels on this page
The handmade MOS panel (Type 50) is listed at a regular width range of 300 to 1,180 mm, a regular thickness of 50 mm, and custom thicknesses of 75 and 100 mm. The machine-made MOS panel (Type 50, 1150 type) is listed at a regular width of 1,150 mm and a thickness range of 50 to 150 mm. Both are MOS panels; the difference is construction, not core chemistry, and the handmade-versus-machine-made guide explains the trade-off.
The handmade hollow glass-magnesium panel (Type 50) and the machine-made hollow glass-magnesium panel (Type 50, 1150 type) complete the sandwich-panel set on this page. Their panel specifications are stated on their model pages. This page is about sandwich panels, not the standalone board: the standalone board is a different product, and its specifications are stated on the magnesium oxide board page, as the product page lists them, not on this page.
Support wordings for this page include magnesium oxysulfide sandwich panel, glass magnesium sandwich panel, moisture resistant sandwich panel, and manufacturer and supplier wordings for those panels. They are page vocabulary, not separate pages, and the moisture-resistant wording is not a performance claim: the humidity-selection confirmation page states that the applicable humidity range must be confirmed model by model, with no humidity figure stated.
Selection notes
For laboratory rooms, the source material's customer-advice wording favours sulfomagnesium panels, citing antibacterial, anti-mould, easy-cleaning, Class A fire, and acid-and-alkali-resistant qualities as customer advice, not as test conclusions. That advice is stated in full, with its attribution, on the laboratory application page.
For rooms where the joint matters as much as the core, compare the tongue-and-groove joint of the machine-made panels with the tongue-and-groove or middle-aluminium connection of the handmade panels. The joint-methods page lists only the listed joint facts and gives no drawing dimensions.
