The guide explains why that method is used, and how to use it for a core selection.

Why a single humidity figure would mislead
The source material records different humidity wordings for different magnesium models, and those wordings conflict if merged into one figure. A site-wide humidity figure would therefore be wrong for at least one model, and a buyer who relied on it for that model would select on a false premise. The site refuses that trade-off: it gives up a convenient figure in order to keep every model statement true.
The same logic applies to core selection. A core-level humidity claim — 'MOS cores suit humid rooms' or 'hollow cores suit dry rooms' — would require model-by-model data that the source material does not give in a ranked form. This guide therefore does not rank cores by humidity, and it does not recommend a core for a humid or dry room.
How to select a core under this method
Select the core by the room's other requirements first — fire, sound insulation, cleaning, joint, and openings — using the core-selection guide and the application pages. Then, for the shortlisted model, ask the supplier to confirm the applicable humidity range for that exact model, in writing, together with the room's lowest and highest humidity conditions. If the range cannot be confirmed for that model, shortlist a different model and confirm again.
Record the confirmation with the model name, not just the core name: a confirmation for a handmade MOS model is not a confirmation for a machine-made MOS model, and a confirmation for a hollow model is not a confirmation for a hybrid model.
